If you’d like to read more about mindfulness, then these are excellent places to start. Jon Kabat-Zinn is one of the foremost authories on the subject, and founder of the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) course. I’d recommend ‘Wherever You Go, There You Are’ as a great introduction. ‘Full Catastrophe Living’ is excellent and extremely comprehensive, but a big read.
I loved reading The Mindful Mother when I was pregnant: it’s great for keeping those happy thoughts going in the face of sleep deprivation or challenging days with small people.
